The band Labasheeda was formed in Amsterdam mid 2004 out older defunct formations. They have an international outlook and approach to music as its band members hail from 3 different countries with many different influences and life experiences (USA/Italy/Netherlands)
Labasheeda is known for working with non-standard pop structures, changing instruments such as baritone guitar, electric violin and working with “sound” within their songs. We play music as a form of expression opposed to being a product, fashion statement or haircut. What does "punk rock" mean to you? Paolo and Saskia are also involved into the Templo Diez project.
