Nesaia

NESAIA has been founded in February 2007. After 2 member changes the band from Saxony-Anhalt/Germany now exists in it`s current form since March 2008. The name Nesaia is based on a nereid, a water nymph in greek mythology.
The first Demo-Recordings were made in October 2007. In February 2008 the Live EP "The Nightmare Begins", containing a Live-Record from December 2007, was released. On January 17th 2009 NESAIA released the 6-Track-EP "A Celebration Of The Dead".
Since their foundation the band played about 50 concerts with bands like A Traitor Like Judas, Anima, Black Friday `29, Bury My Sins, Soulgate`s Dawn, Forever It Shall Be, Lay Down Rotten, Faust Again, Ba`al, Myra, Seamy Side and many more national and international bands.

The songs from NESAIA are a combination of technical metal-riffs, danceable hardcore-passages, stomping mosh-parts and mix from agressive screamo-shouts, dark growls and melodic clean-vocals. The whole package is arranged with atmospheric synthesizer-sounds.
