Parklife

- Starting from The Beatles via The Stone Roses with a detour to Oasis and Kula Shaker, finally turning off at Coldplay…that's the way to get directly to the 21st century and consequently to Parklife, right into the chamber of frontman Axel Brückner (voc/guitar).

Because that's where it all grows: songs, with beautiful pop melodies, driving guitar sounds, groove parts and not infrequently with big hit potential. But what to do with songs that are just to big for one chamber, those that want to get out in the wide world? That's why Axel searches for bandsmen, during 2006. In the end he finds them, obviously at the College of Music Nuremberg-Augsburg, where he studies as well.

Together with Jochen Pfister (keys/voc), Alex Spengler (bass) and Dirk Sommerfeld (drums/voc) he completes a powerful unit since the beginning of 2007. At the same time each member of Parklife commands competence and a longtime stage experience (e.g. Smokestack Lightnin', Uprisin', Liebhaber), which reflects in a compact interplay and a thrilling live performance.

So Parklife walk their guides' never beaten tracks in new shoes – but always one step ahead.
