12055 BerlinSCHWEFELGELB that is Eddy and Sid, who decided to found a band, 3 years ago. First, their music sounded like Electroclash, but today they found their very own style:
Catchy melodies tuned with distorted bass lines. Pumping beats paired with Sid’s shrill voice. Hissing noises as well as almost lovely pads are possible. Unmistakable the influence of the 80s New Wave, although they show how to transfer old clichés into a fresh, even progressive sound in a simple but well thought-out way.
The pseudo-philosophic German lyrics deal with good and bad, destruction and restart – with apparent antagonisms.
All in all a mixture which works not only in Germany. Frequently the guys are asked to play in other European countries. Though their music is typically German, the music is able to convince internationally!
